Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts for 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize disruptive innovations
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech adoption across industries
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and R&D partnerships
- Monitor global tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting future markets
- Mentor junior strategists on futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Exceptional data analysis and predictive modeling skills
- Published thought leadership in tech or business journals
- Experience securing large-scale innovation funding
- Strong network of industry contacts in Silicon Valley
