Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Champion innovation labs to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Monitor global tech policies and ethical frameworks affecting our roadmap
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation strategy team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and partnerships
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
