Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI) for market viability and competitive disruption
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry megatrends
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and Board on technology disruption scenarios
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption ROI and innovation velocity
- Advise on ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of commercializing disruptive technologies (portfolio examples required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
