- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable systems) with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and scale breakthrough technologies
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready technologies through change management programs
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments impacting 2026+ innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, CEIM)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing R&D teams
- Published thought leadership on future technologies (patents, journals, keynotes)
