Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics, etc.) and assess their commercial viability
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia for technology scouting
- Present technology insights and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments affecting emerging innovations
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum systems, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing multi-year technology investment strategies and ROI models
- Strong stakeholder management skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
