- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and neuro-interfacing systems
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging tech threats/opportunities in decentralized networks and synthetic biology
- Architect patent portfolios around next-gen human augmentation technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors on tech disruption vectors
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for 2026 pilot programs
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and ETH Zurich on joint research initiatives
- Coordinate with policy teams on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum machine learning or neural interfaces
- Proven track record scaling tech ventures from lab to market (3+ exits)
- Deep expertise in ISO 21464 tech standards and NIST AI frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility for defense-contracted R&D projects
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global research partnerships
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 tech predictions with 85%+ accuracy
