Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-state product visions and innovation priorities
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify disruptive threats/opportunities in adjacent markets
- Present technology strategy to C-suite and board members, translating complex concepts into actionable business plans
- Manage innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-impact R&D initiatives with 2026 commercialization targets
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption readiness and ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums on 2026 tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation management with proven 5+ year strategic planning experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., generative AI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on disruptive technologies
- Portfolio of successfully launched products/services with 3+ year strategic planning cycles
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market readiness frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Track record of securing $5M+ budgets for strategic technology initiatives
