Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and assess their commercial viability
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product ecosystems
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify strategic investment opportunities
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and boards
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership papers on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or venture capital
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
