Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, bio-computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive R&D budget allocation for experimental technology projects
- Author thought leadership papers on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in commercializing next-generation technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, neuromorphic systems, or sustainable tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Demonstrated ability to secure multi-million dollar R&D funding
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
