Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing, and spatial computing
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and societal impact assessments
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor a diverse team of 12+ technologists and researchers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling value propositions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 8+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent disruptive innovation experience
- Proven track record scaling technology initiatives from concept to market impact
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI governance, quantum algorithms, AR/VR ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing federal grants and corporate innovation partnerships
- Portfolio of implemented technologies affecting 1M+ users
