Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging industry trends and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate futuristic technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations and competitive threats
- Partner with R&D teams to translate theoretical concepts into commercial applications
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards

- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services (e.g., AI platforms, quantum computing solutions)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Strong network with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management
