Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and competitive intelligence to identify first-mover advantages
- Design scalable innovation frameworks for rapid experimentation and commercialization of breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proof methodologies and ethical technology deployment
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technology products/services
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: generative AI, quantum computing, or neurotechnology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future) or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or venture capital for tech ventures
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
