Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for next-gen tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and manage innovation incubators for experimental technologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption ROI and innovation velocity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI, quantum, bioinformatics, or sustainable systems
- Proven success in launching minimum viable products from research concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields preferred
