- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation strategies with business goals
- Author predictive white papers on societal impact of AI and automation by 2030
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present findings at global tech summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record forecasting tech adoption cycles (e.g., blockchain, AR/VR)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain for government-contract projects
