Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy framework, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces and immersive experiences
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and identify disruptive opportunities for market disruption
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology roadmaps with business objectives and sustainability goals
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Present technology vision to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year roadmap execution
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating transformational technology initiatives launched in the past 3 years
