Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026-2030 technology innovation roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and scale breakthrough innovations
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and investors
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI/ML, synthetic biology, or advanced materials
- Experience with multi-million dollar budget management
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
- PhD or Master's in relevant technical field (preferred)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (strongly preferred)
