Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential for 2026+
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps prioritizing AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Conduct risk/benefit analysis of emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into product development lifecycles
- Establish innovation KPIs and track progress against strategic technology adoption goals
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, startups, and academic research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with measurable business impact
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess technical feasibility and market potential
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Track record of launching successful technology initiatives in enterprise environments
- Certifications in technology management (e.g., CTO, TOGAF) preferred
