Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into existing ecosystems
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for innovation initiatives
- Establish KPIs to measure technological adoption ROI and competitive advantage
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with rigorous ROI analysis and resource allocation
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ major implementations)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Certified Futurist (CF) or Technology Strategy certification preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional data modeling skills with experience in forecasting technology adoption curves
- Portfolio demonstrating successful transformation of R&D into market-leading products
- Fluency in strategic frameworks like Porter's Five Forces and Disruption Theory
