Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, and sustainable tech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption timelines
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget across R&D labs and strategic partnerships
- Mentor senior engineers on future-proofing architectures and scalable systems
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology ROI and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite advisory roles
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining tech products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, Web3, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (HBR, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $25M and teams of 50+ technical professionals
- Certification in emerging technology governance (e.g., CTO, CIO, or AI Ethics certification)
