Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in sustainable tech and decentralized systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints focused on climate-positive tech solutions
- Author white papers on future tech policy implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Proven track record of forecasting tech market shifts (e.g., Gartner hype cycle experience)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in future tech (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
