Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market trends and organizational goals
- Lead strategic initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech innovation
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology forecasting to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype breakthrough solutions and accelerate commercialization
- Present technology strategies to investors, boards, and industry stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Secure patents and intellectual property for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercial tech products valued at $50M+
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Forecasting or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience securing federal/state grants for tech innovation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
