Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate emerging technologies into core business strategies
- Build and mentor a cross-functional team of futurists and technical architects
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with transformative potential
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and industry stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with evolving global tech regulations and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, architecture, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching disruptive tech products or platforms
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology management preferred
