Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, neuro interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging tech trends, assessing commercial viability and competitive implications
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members through compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions and technology incubators
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to foster strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of translating technological foresight into market opportunities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, CFP)
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership or successful tech commercialization
