- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact R&D initiatives and emerging technology applications
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing strategies into development lifecycles
- Monitor and evaluate ethical implications of emerging technologies including AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial innovation pipelines
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, advanced materials)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
