Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, social, and economic trends to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Lead strategic workshops with C-suite to align organizational vision with future opportunities
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for trend acceleration and adoption
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Present trend briefings to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Published research on 2020s technological trajectories (peer-reviewed journals)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in AI-powered trend forecasting tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Foresight Platform)
- Experience with neurotech or quantum computing ecosystems
