Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead innovation sprints with cross-functional teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Produce executive-grade reports on emerging tech disruptions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate futures thinking into corporate strategy
- Curate global thought leadership events and publish industry-shaping white papers
- Mentor junior futurists using structured methodologies like Delphi and STEEP analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, tech foresight, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or implemented innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI alignment
- Proficiency in futures tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption
