Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic trends, technological disruptions, and behavioral patterns to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product development frameworks
- Author quarterly Horizon Briefing reports distributed to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Design and execute scenario-planning simulations for high-stakes business environments
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through keynotes and whitepapers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D with proven 2026+ impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, and quantum applications
- Published foresight work or patents in high-impact journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Advanced proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, and Cross-Impact Matrix
- Portfolio demonstrating transformational outcomes for complex systems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioner)
