Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and market gaps
- Quantify future scenarios through predictive modeling and scenario planning frameworks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology impacts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Business Model Canvas)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFt) preferred
