Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and Web3 domains
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership teams
- Manage portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation ROI and adoption metrics
- Present futures insights at industry conferences and board meetings
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Innovation Fellowship program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or corporate innovation roles
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (e.g., AI ethics, quantum computing)
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in Fortune 500 settings
- Proficiency in futures simulation tools (e.g., Powersim, AnyLogic)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
