You'll lead cross-functional teams in developing predictive models, scenario planning frameworks, and innovation pipelines that position organizations at the forefront of tomorrow's economy.
As a key architect of our Future Intelligence division, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethicists, and biotech pioneers to anticipate disruptions in climate tech, neuro-interfaces, and decentralized systems. Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal megatrends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario planning frameworks for clients across healthcare, finance, and energy sectors, quantifying risks/opportunities through predictive modeling
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with C-suite executives to co-create future-ready innovation roadmaps
- Produce quarterly Future Pulse reports synthesizing geopolitical, technological, and climate disruption signals
- Manage a portfolio of experimental innovation projects exploring quantum-resistant cryptography and neuro-ergonomic interfaces
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist researchers in Austin, Berlin, and Singapore
- Present future trend briefings to investor consortiums and policy advisory boards
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management with 7+ years of applied foresight experience
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients (2020-2023)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier industry publications
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies: Delphi, causal layered analysis, and cross-impact matrices
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis platforms (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Pulse)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures concepts into executable business strategies
