Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to detect emerging trends across tech, geopolitics, and consumer behavior
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and publish quarterly future-state scenario reports
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into product innovation pipelines
- Facilitate executive workshops on disruptive technologies and their business implications
- Design and implement innovation sprints for breakthrough solutions targeting 2026+ markets
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Maintain a proprietary 'Future Radar' database tracking 200+ emerging signals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, books, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, scenario planning)
