What You'll Do: Lead horizon scanning initiatives, develop scenario-based strategic frameworks, and produce trend briefings that inform R&D priorities. You'll represent our voice at global tech forums and mentor cross-functional teams on future-proofing operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Produce quarterly trend briefings on quantum computing, AGI, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation portfolios with future market demands
- Represent Horizon Labs at Davos, Web Summit, and other future-tech forums
- Design ethical governance frameworks for advanced AI deployment
- Mentor R&D teams on translating foresight into product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting at Fortune 500 firms
- Published thought leadership on tech disruption (e.g., IEEE, HBR)
- Expertise in scenario planning and Delphi methodology
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and bio-convergence
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Cassandra, Trendalyzer)
- Global network of tech pioneers and academic researchers
