Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 Technology Foresight framework
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic, AI) and commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic roadmaps to board members and investors quarterly
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for future initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists and build foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis tools
- Exceptional presentation skills to C-suite audiences
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects
