Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech)
- Design strategic roadmaps integrating sustainability, ethical AI, and human-centric innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce actionable foresight reports for executive decision-making and investment prioritization
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into product development pipelines
- Monitor horizon-scanning ecosystems (startups, academic research, policy shifts)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP, Strategic Foresight)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
