Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight initiatives focused on 2026+ technology and societal trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops to map future disruption opportunities across industries
- Establish and maintain innovation ecosystems with academic institutions and R&D partners
- Present future trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and boards
- Design and pilot prototype technologies and business models for 2026 market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-focused methodologies and adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario development frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
