- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration) and their market implications through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 clients seeking 2026 technology adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (neural interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Present trend forecasts to C-suite executives through data-driven visualizations and scenario planning
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects in sustainable tech and human augmentation
- Publish white papers and keynote at global tech conferences on future-of-work paradigms
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodology and speculative design thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy consulting or R&D leadership with proven 2020+ trend forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published industry forecasts with 85%+ accuracy rate
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, Delphi Method) and technology adoption curves
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (CFS) or equivalent strategic foresight program
