Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year strategic implications
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning AI, IoT, and next-gen computing platforms
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs, startups, and global research institutions
- Translate technological foresight into actionable product development plans
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage annual $5M+ innovation budget with measurable ROI tracking
- Represent company at global tech forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced materials
