Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ adoption across quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech solutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype next-gen systems
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI regulation, quantum security, bio-integrated systems) to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance ensuring alignment with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and venture partners securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Mentor junior futurists and curate knowledge repositories for enterprise-wide tech foresight
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques, horizon scanning)
- Deep technical knowledge in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology (e.g., CFTR)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental R&D teams
- Mastery of strategic foresight tools (STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis) and visualization platforms
