Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) and their market implications through 2026
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present trend reports and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends with 90%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, decentralized networks)
- Experience publishing thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and scenario planning tools
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., from World Futures Society)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
