Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, Web3) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026+
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate future market disruptions and competitive shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry innovators
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of forward-thinking innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, R&D, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
