Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, spatial computing)
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for high-impact initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for cutting-edge R&D
- Assess competitive landscapes and identify first-mover advantages in emerging tech domains
- Build and maintain a technology foresight framework to anticipate market shifts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience translating technical concepts into business value and competitive strategy
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
