Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Advise C-suite on emerging tech risks/opportunities and disruption mitigation strategies
- Author thought leadership publications for industry conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government innovation labs
- Drive ethical tech governance frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal innovation scouting programs
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of applied experience
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and implementing transformative technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech domains
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes (US, EU, APAC)
- Experience leading cross-cultural innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
