Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast 5-10 year impacts on business landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating next-generation technologies into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build executive-level scenarios for disruptive market shifts and competitive threats
- Partner with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer forward-looking research initiatives
- Present future-vision frameworks to investors and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles at Fortune 500 tech companies
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology strategy publications
- Experience leading global teams and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
