Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care assistance including mobility support and daily living activities
- Accurately document patient observations and vital signs in electronic health records
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and inventory supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient services
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain clinical certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or patient care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with healthcare documentation systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
