Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) and handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Organize store merchandise, restock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management as needed.
- Provide product recommendations and information to customers to drive sales.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory for walk-in applicants.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and handling change.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as required.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs dictate.
