Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock records and organize storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval processes.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages and verify accuracy against packing lists.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse machinery and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Valid Forklift Certification (Class A/B/C) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
