Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Maintain and update the company asset inventory and ensure proper hardware disposal.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure uptime.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with network administrators to resolve complex connectivity issues.
- Conduct basic cybersecurity awareness training for staff members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in IT Helpdesk or Technical Support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and desktop support procedures.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Reliable transportation for on-site support if required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
