Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal uptime.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system for knowledge base maintenance.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and upgrades.
- Respond to incoming support tickets via phone, email, and chat in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic router/switch configuration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
