The Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our internal clients, ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist employees with password resets, email configuration, and device troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support tickets and incidents.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new software and hardware upgrades.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT security protocols and data privacy standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Proven experience in help desk or technical support roles (1-2 years minimum).
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime if needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional off-site support).
