Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and implement highly available, distributed system architectures that can handle massive scale and future growth.
- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of senior engineers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Future-Proofing: Conduct research and development on emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal latency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and security strategies to protect critical data assets.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 4 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Core Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and message queues.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered technical problems under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
